Dr Amar Narendra Ande is Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Wardha Maharashtra under affiliation of DMIMS (DU). He is an Ayurveda Consultant practicing in Pune. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services, Industrial Health Management and Disaster Management. Dr Amar pursues his masters (MD) in Ayurvediya Kriya Sharir (Physiology) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). He has also participated in the AYUSH funded project for Diabetes mellitus carried out in Wardha District of Maharashtra, India.
As a Physician, Dr Amar has served variety of patients across India at the Rajiv Dixit Memorial Trust Sewagram in Wardha. He has earlier practiced across the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, and Jharkhand; now is located at Pune in Maharashtra.
In Pune, he has been an integral part of various Multispecialty Hospitals while working with Sanjeevan Hospital at Erandwane, Deoyani Hospital at Karve Nagar, Suyash Hospital at Kothrud, Shashwat Hospital at Kothrud, Pawana Hospital in Mawal as Medical Officer.
Dr Amar is a believer of the concept of holistic health; that can be achieved if dietary habits and lifestyle be modulated in a way where optimum nutrition and physical mobility is maintained. In the course of his practice he has brought awareness in masses regarding his concept of health associated with diet and lifestyle.
As a practitioner Dr Amar has successfully managed diseases like Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Anorectal diseases, GI problems, Psychosomatic Problems etc. He provides consultations on the basis of Prakruti Parikshan (Individualized body constitution) and Dhatu Sarata (Normalcy of bodily tissues). These concepts are the bare bones of Ayurveda and his practice. With this ability to use the core concepts of Ayurveda Dr Amar has a vision of achieving the Ayurved Prayojan – “Swasthasya Swathya Rakshanam Aturasya Vikar Prashamanam Cha ”.
